Yes, we are but more broadly we are an LGBTQ+ travel company. Hermes Holidays is gay owned and operated, and we specialise in luxury LGBTQ+ small group holidays and gay tours for travellers from around the world.

While many of our guests are gay men, we warmly welcome all members of the LGBTQ+ community.

 It’s important to note that we also welcome straight allies who share our values of respect, inclusion and fabulous travel.

Hermes Holidays is different because every trip is personally designed and hosted by us from start to finish. From your first enquiry to your final farewell, you are dealing with the people who created the trip and will be there travelling with you.

We also believe the price you see should reflect the holiday you are actually going to have. Many tour companies advertise a lower base price, but once you look closer, the key experiences, optional tours, meals, drinks, tips and taxes can all cost extra. By the time you add everything in, the real price can be thousands more.

With Hermes Holidays, there are no surprise optional tours, no extra tipping kitty and no hidden charges waiting for you once you arrive. The key experiences, beautiful meals, drinks, tips, taxes, private moments, parties and special touches are already included in the price.

Yes, absolutely. Many of our guests join Hermes Holidays as solo travellers, and it is one of the things we do really well.

Our trips are designed to feel social, welcoming and easy from the very beginning. 

You will be part of a small group, personally hosted by Kyle and Wayne, with plenty of included experiences, shared meals and relaxed moments that make it easy to meet people.

You can have your own space when you want it, but you will never feel like you are travelling alone.

Yes. Hermes Holidays trips are perfect for solo travellers, couples and friends travelling together.

Our small group holidays are social without being overwhelming, so you can enjoy the company of the group while still having plenty of time to enjoy the trip your own way.

Couples often love the balance of travelling together while also meeting new people, and friends enjoy having everything beautifully organised while still feeling relaxed and fun.

Whether you arrive on your own, with your partner or with a friend, you will be welcomed into the group from the very beginning.

Hermes Holidays welcomes travellers aged 18 and over.

Our guests are a mix of ages, with most generally falling somewhere between their 30s and 60s. What matters more than age is attitude. If you enjoy beautiful hotels, great food, fabulous experiences, good company and a relaxed but social style of travel, you will fit right in.

It is worth keeping in mind that our holidays are quite active and often involve a lot of walking, stairs, old towns, uneven streets and full days out exploring. As long as you are reasonably fit, active and comfortable being on your feet, you should feel very much at home with us. Plus there is always a glass of wine waiting at the end of the day!

Hermes Holidays specialises in luxury LGBTQ+ small group holidays, with most trips averaging around 25 to 30 guests.

We find this is the perfect size: small enough to feel personal, social and easy, but large enough to create a great group energy. 

It means you can get to know people properly, enjoy hosted experiences without feeling lost in a crowd, and still have plenty of space to enjoy the holiday your own way.

Very occasionally, we may create a larger special departure, such as a river cruise or a unique destination experience. When we do, the group size and style of trip will always be clearly explained before you book.

Hermes Holidays trips are designed to include the experiences that make a holiday truly memorable, not just the basics.

While inclusions vary slightly depending on the destination, our trips generally include luxury accommodation, many highlight meals, selected drinks, private experiences, guided sightseeing with local specialists, special events, local taxes and gratuities, and the personal hosting of Kyle and Wayne throughout the trip.

We also focus on experiences you could not easily arrange by yourself or simply book online. Think private access, VIP moments, carefully chosen local specialists, special events, beautiful settings and those little “how did they organise this?” touches that make a trip feel truly special.

We do not believe in advertising a low base price and then asking you to pay extra for the experiences you actually came for. There are no optional tours, no hidden charges and no tipping kitty waiting for you once you arrive.

Before you book, each itinerary clearly outlines exactly what is included, so you know what your holiday really costs from the beginning.

No. International flights are not included in Hermes Holidays trips.

Our guests join us from all over the world, which is one of the things that makes our holidays so special. Because everyone is travelling from different places, it makes far more sense for guests to arrange the flights that work best for them.

Many of our guests also have preferred airlines, frequent flyer programs, points they want to use, or specific cabin preferences. Leaving flights separate gives you the freedom to choose the airline, route and travel style that suits you best.

We also release our trips well in advance, usually more than 12 months before departure, so guests who collect points have plenty of time to look for frequent flyer seats and plan their travel around the holiday.

Not at all. While Hermes Holidays trips are social, fun and definitely include a few fabulous moments, you do not need to be a party person to enjoy travelling with us.

Our holidays are designed around beautiful destinations, luxury hotels, great food, private experiences, relaxed pacing and wonderful people. Yes, there may be parties, special events, long lunches, cocktails or nights out, but there is never any pressure to do everything.

You can join the fun, take a quieter night, head back to the hotel early, or enjoy the trip at your own pace. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable, welcomed and free to holiday in the way that suits you.

Yes, they do. Around 80% of Hermes Holidays guests are repeat travellers, which is something we are incredibly proud of.
