WorldPride 2026
Are you ready for an unforgettable 10-day adventure in one of the most fabulous cities on the planet — just as it hosts the biggest Pride celebration in the world? Get ready for
Amsterdam WorldPride 2026.
We’ve chosen these dates so you’ll experience the best of both Amsterdam’s legendary Pride week and the official WorldPride festivities — back-to-back celebrations that'll have the whole city buzzing. It’s going to be wild!
Picture This
You, staying at the Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American, a stunning, iconic Art Deco gem that puts you right in the beating heart of Amsterdam’s gay scene. Just steps from Reguliersdwarsstraat (“Gay Street”) and minutes from the Pride Village, parades, and parties — it’s the perfect base for an unforgettable week of celebration.
We’ll also venture beyond the city with a spectacular e-bike adventure through the Dutch countryside (yes, there will be cheese, beer, and clogs involved), plus a cheeky day trip to Brussels — with a long lunch at the legendary Chez Léon. And when the week winds to a close? We'll go out in style with a big old gay Farewell Party at Hangar Beach Club — the perfect way to finish an incredible week.
Just a Small Taste
We’ll kick things off in style with a VIP Welcome Party at one of Amsterdam’s sexiest hidden venues — the perfect place to catch up with old friends and meet some fabulous new ones. From there, the week is packed with a brilliant mix of iconic Pride moments and exclusive Hermes Holiday’s touches — from front row seats at the world-famous Canal Parade to private tours of the Rijksmuseum and Heineken Experience.
Of course, there’s plenty of time to explore too — and to recover from the night before. Whether you want to hit the clubs every night or spend an afternoon soaking up the sun in Vondelpark, this trip is about doing Pride your way — but with some pretty fabulous extras included along the way.
The Hotel
We’ve secured rooms at the stunning Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American — an absolute architectural jewel. This gorgeous Art Deco landmark, built in 1902, is fresh from a multi-million euro renovation — the rooms are newly refurbished, and the lobby and foyer have just been completed. She’s STUNNING which means you’ll be staying in a building with serious history and jaw-dropping beauty, with all the modern comforts you’d expect.
And location-wise? You couldn’t ask for better. You’ll be just around the corner from gay street (Reguliersdwarsstraat) and the legendary Paradiso — home to the iconic Rapido Dance Party — so you can stumble home in heels, harnesses, or whatever state you happen to be in! And while you’ll be close to the action, you’ll also be just far enough removed to actually get a good night’s sleep when you need it.

DAY 3: Sunday, 2nd August
Rest, Recovery and Repeat
After a weekend of sequins, street parties and dancing till dawn (and let’s be honest — some of you may still be partying), today is all about rest and recovery. But as we all know, the best cure for the night before is a little hair of the dog… and pizza.
This afternoon, we’ll board our private Pizza & Beer Booze Cruise through the beautiful canals with our local skipper sharing stories along the way. All you need to do is sit back, enjoy the views, and indulge in unlimited beer, wine, and delicious pizza.
Afterward, the choice is yours: keep the party going at the legendary Rapido Dance Party or do as the locals do and relax in Vondelpark to recover in style.

DAY 4: Monday, 3rd August
Live Like a Local
There’s no better way to explore Amsterdam than by bike — it’s how the locals do it, and today you will too. We’ll hop on classic Dutch “oma fietsen” (granny bikes) and cycle through the city’s cobbled lanes, leafy parks, and alongside those iconic canals, led by one of our favourite local guides who’ll bring the stories of the city to life.
Over a gentle 2.5 hours, we’ll cruise past the Rijksmuseum, Anne Frank House, drawbridges, secret courtyards, Jordaan, and Vondelpark. As night falls, we’re heading into the Red Light District for Category: Eleganza Extravaganza! At Paleis van de Weemoed, you’ll enjoy a three-course feast, 4 hours of open bar, and a full-blown drag spectacle with live vocals and lip-syncs, fully reserved just for us.

DAY 5: Tuesday, 4th August
Pride, Progress & History
Today, we’ll explore the rich and complex LGBTQI+ history of Amsterdam on foot, guided by a local specialist. Amsterdam may have been the first city in the world to legalise same-sex marriage, but the city’s queer story goes much deeper — from centuries-old safe spaces and early activism to the renowned Pride scene of today. Along the way, we’ll visit several key locations connected to the fight for acceptance and equality, hearing the stories of those who helped shape this incredible journey.
We’ll finish the tour at the Anne Frank House with an included self-guided audio tour through one of Europe's most important historical sites — a powerful reminder of human rights. Afterwards, the afternoon is yours to reflect before we head to Museumplein with your included tickets for the Opening UNITY Concert at Pride Village.

DAY 6: Wednesday, 5th August
Bikes, Dykes & Dutch Delights
Ready for some fresh air, big skies, and a real taste of the Netherlands? Today we’re leaving the city behind for an awesome e-bike adventure through the postcard-perfect Dutch countryside — we've got a feeling you're going to love today!
First stop: the ridiculously charming village of Edam with its canals and cobblestones. Next, we'll visit a working windmill to meet Tom the miller before rolling into Volendam, a seaside town packed with colourful houses and sun-drenched terraces. On the way back, we’ll stop in Monnickendam to meet Steven — cheese maker, clog carver, and local legend — who will host us for a light lunch paired with locally crafted beers.

DAY 7: Thursday, 6th August
A Taste of Brussels
Babes, we’re off to Brussels! This morning, we’re hopping aboard the Eurostar, bound for Belgium. In under two hours, we’ll roll into the heart of the city, ready for a day of iconic sights, indulgent bites, and a few cheeky surprises along the way.
Our local guides will meet us for a relaxed walking tour covering the magnificent Grand Place, Galeries Royales, the Stock Exchange, and Manneken Pis. We’ll also explore Rue du Marché au Charbon — Brussels’ rainbow strip and home to the Rainbow House. Then, we’ll stop for lunch at Chez Léon, a Brussels institution, for famous moules-frites paired with drinks before returning to Amsterdam just in time for Pride Village. (B/L)
DAY 8: Friday, 7th August
Paintings, Pints & Punchlines
This morning it’s time for some culture — with a beer or two to follow. We’ll begin with a private guided tour of the world-famous Rijksmuseum, led by one of the museum’s expert guides. They’ll bring the masterpieces to life as we explore the stunning galleries of this iconic Dutch treasure.
You’ll see Rembrandt’s masterpiece The Night Watch, works by Vermeer, and early pieces by Van Gogh. Enjoy free time for lunch in the super-cool De Pijp district, then head to the iconic Heineken Experience with priority access, finishing at their exclusive rooftop bar. To round off the night, we’ve secured VIB seats (Very Important Bums) at Boom Chicago Comedy Club for an unpredictable, hilarious night of improv.

DAY 9: Saturday, 8th August
The Grand Finale – Hangar Beach Club Farewell Party!
This afternoon, we’ll head to Amsterdam Noord — the city’s creative, industrial-cool answer to Brooklyn — starting with a cheeky Silent Disco walk through the neighbourhood. Our main event takes place at Hangar, a stunning waterfront beach club right on the IJ River. Expect Riviera vibes, drinks, dancing, a delicious long lunch, and plenty of surprises. Afterwards, head back for the Closing Concert at Museumplein or hit the clubs for one last dance!
It’s our final full day together — and we’re going out in true
Hermes Holidays style.

DAY 10: Sunday, 9th August
Farewell & Departures
After a final breakfast together at the hotel, your time in Amsterdam comes to an end. But the friendships, the memories, and the glitter will last long after you return home. Until next time…
It’s time to say goodbye —
for now.

What Airport Do I Need to Fly In and Out Of?
The trip starts and finishes in Amsterdam so you will need to fly in and out of Schiphol Airport. We recommend arriving no later than 1:00 pm so you have plenty of time to make your way to our hotel, check in and then be ready for our Welcome Party which starts at 5:00pm.
Getting from the Airport to the Hotel
The easiest way to reach the Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American is by Uber or taxi. After collecting your bags, follow the signs inside the terminal marked “App Pick-Up Point” This will lead you to the designated rideshare area where your driver will meet you. The journey typically takes around 25 minutes, depending on traffic.
Prefer public transport? You can take a direct train from Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam Central Station, then transfer to tram 2, 12, or 17, and get off at Leidseplein. The hotel is located just across the street from the tram stop.
What Is the Activity Level of This Tour?
Let’s just say this isn’t a sit-on-a-bus kind of holiday — in fact there is NO BUS! By the time we send you home, you'll have buns of steel and stories to match.
This is an active tour that includes walking tours, cycling adventures, and a healthy dose of dancing 'til late, so a reasonable level of fitness is needed. You don’t need to be a triathlete, but you should be comfortable on your feet for a few hours and confident on a bike.
And yes — party stamina counts. This is WorldPride, after all.
Do You Accommodate Single Travellers?
Absolutely. We always set aside a number of rooms for solo travellers, available with a single supplement. Whether you're joining us solo or with friends and just like your own space, you’ll be part of the group from day one — and there’s always a great mix of people to connect with.
Do I need a visa to travel to Europe?
Right now, you do not need a visa to visit most of Europe (as long as you’re staying under 90 days). But from 2026, that’s set to change.
Don’t stress — it’s not a traditional visa. You’ll just need to apply for an online travel authorisation (called ETIAS), which will cover you for up to 90 days of travel. It’s cheap, quick, and should be a once-every-few-years kind of thing.
We’ll keep everyone updated as more info becomes available — and we’ll give you a nudge when it’s time to apply.
Do you cater for special diets?
Of course! Please let us know through your online booking form if you have any strict dietary requirements. For example, we definitely cater for vegetarians, vegans, lactose intolerant, but we do not cater for “fad diets” such as Keto, Atkins etc. We also do not need to know if you do not like, for example, pumpkin or red onions (unless it is an allergy). One of the beauties of travel is trying new foods and new flavours.
Whilst we include drinks with all of our meals please let us know if you do not drink alcohol and we will have alternative drinks for you.
What electrical sockets are used in the Netherlands?
Standard European sockets are used everywhere in the Netherlands. (Type F) – 2 pins, 220V. For those of you travelling from the United States, to protect your appliances and to not blow the fuses in the hotels, please make sure your travel adaptors also have a currency converter in them as everything operates on 220 volts.
Can we add extra nights?
Yes, subject to availability.
If you would like to add extra pre nights at the Grand Mazarin in Paris please let us know when you make your booking and we can request this for you.
We can often access better rates than those available online, so we are very happy to help arrange this where possible.
What Do I Need to Pack?
August is the hottest month in Europe, but the Netherlands serves up a milder, more comfortable kind of summer. Expect beautiful days with average highs around 22°C (72°F) and cooler evenings around 13°C (55°F). There may be the odd breeze or light shower, so layers are key.
Bring plenty of shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, hats, and sunscreen. And don’t even think about leaving your comfortable walking shoes at home — you’ll be on your feet a lot.
We’ve also got a few cycling days, so pack a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated. Lycra’s optional, but confidence is a must.
As for nights out... we’re talking dancing, clubbing, and all kinds of fabulousness — so bring your go-to party wear. Whether you're into glitter, leather, mesh, harnesses, heels, jockstraps or something niche and cheeky, Amsterdam has a place (and a party) for you.
And one last practical tip: if you're someone who likes a face washer or washcloth, bring one along — they’re not commonly provided in European hotels.
Staying Connected
The hotel has free Wi-Fi, but let’s be real — you’re not just going to post that perfect dance floor selfie once you’re back in your room. You’ll want data on-the-go to find the next bar, check your Insta, or message that gorgeous someone you just met on the dancefloor.
We recommend grabbing an e-SIM for when you land in the Netherlands. It’s easy, affordable, and means you’ll be always online when it counts — whether that’s navigating the streets of Amsterdam or sliding into someone’s DMs before they vanish into the crowd.
Are Gratuities Included?
YES! We have found it's easier for everyone if we include all your gratuities. So please know that we will take care of, (on your behalf), the gratuities for all local specialists, restaurant staff and local drivers. Of course, if you would like to give them something extra, they won’t say no! In saying this, please do continue to tip your restaurant staff and hospitality workers when you are dining/travelling independently. We recommend 10% of the bill when dining out.

The Rosé Royale experience delivered an experience that was both luxurious and deeply personal. It wasn’t just a trip—it was a celebration of beauty, culture, and connection. I left with sun-kissed skin, a full heart, and memories I’ll treasure forever.
My journey with Hermes Holidays on the Rosé Royale was nothing short of magical—a seamless blend of elegance, indulgence, and authentic Provençal charm. From the moment we arrived at the enchanting château nestled in the heart of Provence, it felt like stepping into a fairytale. The property itself was breathtaking, with manicured gardens, sun-drenched terraces, and a pool that became our sanctuary throughout our stay.

What truly made it special were the people: kind, like-minded souls who now feel like family by choice. My childhood dream of France was brought to life in the most magical way, thanks to Kyle and Wayne’s flawless attention to detail.
My only regret is not booking sooner… I’m already dreaming of my next Hermes holiday ✨❤️
